Monthly Favorites

Hey guys!  Here's a list of what I'm currently looking forward to and loving for March.

1.  Spring

Spring time's official starting date this year is March 20th, and I couldn't be more excited!  As much as I love me some cozy sweaters, I can't wait for the cold to go away and it start getting nice outside.  Plus, I have a ton of cute non-winter friendly clothes I want to wear (and want need to buy.  How adorable is this j.crew top?  Necessary.)

2.  Yoga

I used to take yoga on and off to help with stretching for dance, but now that I've moved to an area with tons of places that offer yoga, I'm totally hooked.  I go almost every day now.  It really forces me to carve out some time for me and just slow down.  I'm always going going going, and it really helps my stress levels disappear.  If you are a type A, anxiety ridden, doesn't-know-when-to-stop kinda person like me, I would highly recommend putting some time in on the mat.  It's awesome.

3.  Movie:  Oz

Is it wrong that I am so excited for Oz?  I'm not really a James Franco fan, but I'm interested to see what they're going to do with it.  Plus it's got a great cast.  And Zach Braff is voicing a flying monkey (among other things).  So, obviously I have to go. Currently, it's at a 70% on the Tomato Meter, which isn't bad.  Comes out on the 8th, so I guess we'll see!

4.  Trend:  Beading

According to Glamour, one of 2013's spring trends is "Beautiful Beading".  Which I am, of course, fully behind, as I have a slight obsession with shiny things, and beads tend to be shiny.  Also can we have a moment of silence for this bag.  I know it's from Valentino's Spring/Summer collection for 2012, but I mean come on.  Gorgeous.  If I didn't have adult things to do (paying bills is lame), I would probably definitely own this bag.  Don't lecture me on impracticality here.  Shiny-ness trumps impracticality any day of the week (solid thinking I know).  Alas, I am a responsible individual with a strict budget, so I can only ogle from afar.  But I am very excited for this beaded trend.  Perhaps this top, this scarf, or this top (which would probably be too short on me, but hey that's why God invented free returns right?) would be a much more affordable way to try it out.

5.  This Stuff
the best stuff ever

I bite my nails.  Yes I know, it's not good/attractive/classy/[insert word of choice here].  Which is why I decided to make it my New Year's resolution to stop for good.  This stuff is pretty helpful, even though my little baby nails are growing slow.  They're probably in shock that they aren't getting bitten every .5 seconds (I would be too.  I've been doing it since I was 6.  Bad Kendyl).  I'm also taking biotin which should help with that.  Does anyone know how long it takes for biotin to kick in?  Anyway, hopefully with the help of my good friend Sally, I'll be getting manis with my peeps in no time.

Anyway, I gotta go get ready for my boyfriend's birthday celebration-palooza (aka dinner.  I just really wanted to use the word "palooza").  What are your current obsessions for March?
