Sorry sorry SORRY that I have been so MIA. This move has been killer. The past 2 days have been plagued by the sickness of Horrible Internet Connection. We finally gave up and moved the router and have a much better connection now.
Anyway I know I totes said my KlutchClub review was up next in the queue, BUT I can't find my camera in all of the boxes just yet. So...review coming soon, promise. But since it's a new month, here are my favorite things I'm lovin on!
1. Lemon Water
2. Movie Mania
For real, May, as the start of summer action movie season, has a shit-ton of blockbusters coming out. So many, I can't select one picture for all of them. A list of my "to see" flicks includes:
-Great Gatsby (literary and cinematic greatness)
-Iron Man 3 (for RDJ obvs)
-Star Trek 2 (Chris Pine, duhhhhhh)
- Fast and Furious 6 (for...you know..the
-Epic (so so so excited. It looks fab)
-After Earth (love me some Will Smith. Gettin jiggy wit' it- throw back status!!)
I will obviously have a very busy month with my movies of various levels of hotness. Is it wrong I consider this an interval workout of movies due to the varying levels of hotness? It's like varying levels of incline/speed on the treadmill right? ;)
3. Blender Bottle
| Of course I got the pink one |
Ok so another new-to-me product. This thing can make salad dressings, smoothies/shakes, all sorts of shit. Plus, I have found with my various...stomach issues, that I do better with a liquid breakfast. However, because I like to hit snooze about a bajillion times, pulling out the blender in the mornings is just too messy, takes too long, and frankly is too loud for the morning at 6am. This thing, I pretty much throw together some yogurt, protein powder (soy after the debacle with whey), pretty much whatever I want, and I have a perfect brekkie sized shake that keeps me full until lunch and my tums happy. Suriously get on this train if you aren't already.
4. Finally Getting Settled In The New House
| Please Note: Not my new house |
In case you couldn't tell by my lack of posts since the move, this has for real been the Move From Hell. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. I won't tell you about it here, since I'm writing a book about it, and when it becomes a best seller and I become a millionaire, I can hire someone to take care of that shit the next time I move. Hopefully by this time next week, we will be more or less settled and I can go SHOPPING for everything we will need (cute baskets and maybe some new bedding for now. But that list will grow.)
5. My Life
Ok so, after this quarter ends, I'm taking some time off from school. Mainly because I don't know if organizational psychology is what I want to do with my life. Or if the school I'm at is the school I want to get my degree at. So I'm gonna take some time to look into other programs and really figure out what I wanna do with my life. I want to do something I care about, something that matters to me. And I'm not entirely sure organizational psychology is that thing. So it's back to the drawing board for a couple of months. Hopefully I'll find some answers with all the soul-searching (and mimosa drinking ;D) I'll be doing in my off time.
So those are my five monthly favorites. What are you looking forward to in the wonderful month of May? Let me know!!
I'll (for real, as long as the internet holds up) be posting a super fun recipe for Cinco De Mayo ;)
~K
